World Cup Rugby Stars With Big Feet

The clocks went back this weekend. But if you could put them forward to this time in 2015 we’ll know who the next rugby union world champions will be. Now if you’re a gambler wouldn’t that be nice.
The bookies have holders New Zealand down as a shoe in. This despite the fact that no side has managed to retain the trophy since the competition started in 1987. What about England? Well they’re currently third favourites behind the South Africans.
The All Blacks are on their way here already. England have a mini series coming up starting with Australia then Argentina and so should be nicely warmed up to go toe to toe with the All Blacks for the clash at Twickenham in the middle of November.

Bigfoot Footprint

England have home advantage of course in two years time but all that may be kicked into touch as New Zealand continue to march from strength to strength.
When you think about it only England have joined the party of New Zealand, South Africa and Australia to have lifted the Webb Ellis Cup. The drop from Jonny Wilkinson may have been 10-years ago but the memory is burned in the mind like a frozen Bigfoot footprint.

Too Big For Our Boots

The first autumn international is actually also a big moment in our calendar here at Bigfootshoes. If you’re going to the game at Twickenham you’ll be handed a free copy of the Rugby Paper. Just take a look at the front page and you’ll see us in large print glory!
Well we’re all excited by it and apologies if you feel we’re getting too big for our boots. But the deal is if anyone you know is looking for a new pair of rugby boots you must have a look at our collection. What makes us different is that we cater for those of you who wear size 11, 12, 13 and even bigger. It’s why we say ‘Bigfootshoes – where size matters!’

Step In The Right Direction

It’ll also be a big day for Chris Robshaw. Named captain of England once again and so it’s a step back in the right direction for the Harlequins flanker after his disappointment of missing out on the Lions tour. It’s not just Association Football that’s a funny old game.
Like Robshaw you’ll be seeing a lot more of us at Bigfootshoes over the coming months. In addition to our Rugby Paper debut we’re also hot footing it to the Running Shoe Show. It’s crucial to wear proper fitting footwear when you’re out running and if your feet are on the large size we have a big selection to help you out.
Keep in touch with us at Bigfootshoes. We’re here for the long term and we’re here to help you.
