Men's Adidas Footwear in Large Shoe Sizes
In 1924 two brothers, Adolf and Rudolf Dassler began manufacturing shoes in a small factory in Bavaria, southern Germany. In 1936, Adolf (or Adi) drove to Munich where he persuaded the great Jesse Owens to wear his athletic spikes. Owens won 4 gold medals in the spikes and the Dassler name became famous world-wide. In 1948 Dassler formed adidas, the name deriving from his abbreviated christian and surnames. A significant technical feature of Dassler\'s footwear was the application of three supporting bars stitched on the uppers of his sports shoes, and this has become the familiar iconic feature we see to this day. Available in shoe sizes 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19.
